Vocal Arts and Music Festival
June 6-22, 2013
Presented in partnership with the International Vocal Arts Institute
Some of the world’s biggest opera superstars, vocal coaches, and instrumentalists will come together to provide the musical foundation for this year’s Vocal Arts and Music Festival. Presented by the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech on June 6-22, the event brings two and a half weeks of performances and master classes to the Virginia Tech campus. Special events will be offered each evening of the festival, including master classes, chamber music concerts, and solo and ensemble performances spotlighting the festival’s talented singers. Returning for a fourth year, the festival is one of only three International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI) programs in the world; the other two are in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Montreal.
